I tried to play a diplomatic game, researching all the diplomacy art really quickly, but still the entire island turned against me at the drop of a hat. There is literally only one strategy that works, and thats just start conquering EVERYBODY. This is an awesome game with only one major flaw: the way the campaign plays out. You may say this game is good but i was ripped off. Where would rebels get guns,cannons, and horses that take years to build? Yet another insanty of this game was wave after wave of rebels. After awhile i just stopped expanding and just took over major captials and every major trade route area. The insanity of this game was so vast that even trade was massively effected. The eskimos would build up there horses, cannons and gun shock troops attacking everyone but myself.
I would give the terrority space away to the eskimos and have the eskimos build up in germany, totally detroying all major cities into the indian city build. I started exploting these as well, like when i would need a border nation between myself and a luntic smaller nation which was boarding france. You can not make a gun in a burch bark hut or bore out a bronze cannon with out tool steel drills the size of your mom’s head. The one thing that bug the shit out of me was the indians such as the plains nations building cannons and having vast gun manufacturing plants. I will never buy another game from this company and i would suggest no one does either. One turn on the map would take 20 to 40minutes as the computer thinks… While some of the battles are interesting… the naval battlers were bug filled to the point you could make a few cheap tactics to win every time. I was intodated with a spyware program and recorded what I did on the net back to these english baster to sell. Last game I bought was Empire TT and it was a buggy shit pot made by the english for dipshit americans like me. I played the Rome Total war and loved it.
